There may be nothing better than sipping a cold drink on a hot day next to the crashing waves of the beach. Along 30A that’s easy to do but you have to know where to go too.
Here are some of our favorite places to grab a cold drink along Scenic 30A.
Rosemary Beach – Havana Beach Bar & Grill – This AAA, 4-Diamond restaurant is Florida Trend Golden Spoon Award winner at the Pearl Hotel at 63 Main Street. Fabulous food, great view, and tempting drinks. When touring or vacationing on 30A don’t miss Havana’s.
Miramar Beach – Sunset Bay Cafe – Outside dining, fantastic blood he marries, and right on the beach, Said Bay Café Is the Place to Be on Highway 30A. Simply turn off Highway 98 and the guard gate will issue you a pass. This incredible location is secret and hidden so you go straight for half a mile and the restaurant is on your right.
Santa Rosa Beach – Bud & Ally’s Restaurant – Enjoy beautiful sunsets, sundeck dining, and beautiful ocean views along with some of the best shrimp and grits in Florida. This is a great place for some Cajun down home cooking and a cold beer.
Miramar Beach – The Beach House – Overlooking the ocean, the sunbathers, and the pool, this is a fabulous place to grab a cold drink and enjoy a messy burger. From some of the best nachos grouper tacos and hush puppies, The Beach House is definitely the place to be. Located at 4009 S. San Destin the Boulevard in Miramar Beach.
Santa Rosa Beach – The Bay – Pesto seared snapper, delicious crabcakes oozing with bechamel sauce and the ambiance that looks like something out of Savannah Georgia, Bay restaurant has it all right on the beach. Whether it’s a lobster roll with homemade sweet potato chips and a glass of Chardonnay, or a cold, refreshing glass of heifer bison at a picnic table right on the beach with the sand between your toes, The Bay does not disappoint.
Santa Rosa Beach – 723 Whiskey Bravo – Located at 3031 East right on the 30 A, this a beachfront restaurant has a rooftop bar, fabulous appetizers, and luscious drinks. It’s the perfect stop along the way or a great way to unwind at the end of your vacation.
Santa Rosa Beach – Garage Growler – 4368 West Hwy 30A is the best place to fill up a growler with your favorite brew or find a new beverage to fall in love with and head out onto the beach. With over 50 on tap brews, ciders and wines, you are sure to find something you like.
Seagrove Beach – Old Florida Fish House (The Porch) – located at 5235 E Hwy 30A at the Old Florida Fish House is a Porch calling your name. On the shores of the lake, with the Bayou in the distance, enjoy the warm nights with a cold beverage as you listen to the sounds and take in the sights of Florida.
Miramar Beach – Royal Palm Grille – from fresh sushi and grilled grouper to ice cold beer and sweet ice cream, this overlook is the perfect place to end the night or start the evening with a sunset. Voted best in Destin for the last 2 years, The Royal Palm Grille has been serving up the finest meals and outside dining for years. Open 7 days a week with late summer hours, It’s located at the Surfside Resort, 1096 Scenic Gulf Drive.
