Florida’s scenic Highway 30A is a nearly 29-mile corridor that runs along the Gulf of Mexico coastline in Walton County. Dotted along sugar-free sandy beaches and coastal dune lakes, 30A is a tourists destination with beautiful seaside villages, colorful communities and old world charm. You’re likely to find white picket fences, pedestrian trails leading out to the beach and miles of connected state parks, preserves and natural habitat.
30 A runs from Inlet Beach North to Miramar Beach encompassing larger communities such as Panama City Beach, Destin, and Seagrove. Some of the more popular hotspots include great and Beach State Park, topsail Hill preserve State Park and some of the many beaches of South Walton County. The emerald green waters offer a beautiful setting for a relaxing and tranquil retreat. These beaches are busiest from March through October when families, couples, and just about anyone comes to get away from the rat race of life.
